A New Era for ONE

The Oswego Network of Entrepreneurs today begins a new era and joins the 21st century. 2010 is the beginning of a new mission and new look - meaning we will have a web presence - for this organization. Our mission? Network to support, promote & educate local entrepreneurs. We do this in a number of ways. First, we gather weekly to discuss our common battle - that is operating a business in Oswego and how we do that to the best of our ability as individuals and as a business community. As one member put it (and I paraphrase): we are comrades in a common battle. Second, we can provide opportunities for education or information or advice about various aspects of running a business. Third, we provide a think tank atmosphere to be creative in how we do business and how we can do a better job of promoting ourselves locally and regionally. Today we discussed use of new technology to better serve our customers and be more efficient as well. We welcomed some new members and ran out of room at the table - but remained inclusive of all.
